So my boy has curly/wavy hair that looks good shaggy (honestly, it looks good always. I’m so jealous. Just give his head a rub and it’s a new, mussed up perfect. Sandy blonde. Not fair). One lady at the local kids place does it well, and he likes her. Don’t mess with something that works with a two year old, right? Problem is, everyone loves her. Place opened at ten. I show up 10:03. Two hour wait. People line up at 9ish. I’ve been to a grocery store, park, clothing store, and I’m still waiting. Solo, with my two and four year old. Snacks are gone, I lost the changing pad. Send help.
Car related: kids picked out a p1 and an FD rx7 for matchbox cars at Wegmans. Good kids.

Oh my, I wouldn’t be able to handle that. If they don’t do appointments, no dice. Waiting in line with a kid, let alone two, no thanks. Good luck.

Godspeed-
I had both kids as tag-alongs yesterday, we did groceries and a few other stops and ended up home with candy, donuts, toys- and a heap of side-eye from my wife.

Been there! Sometimes you just have to do whatever it takes to survive the trip. Now that the kids are older bribes are less effective, but thankfully not really necessary anymore either.
